Ingredients:


  • 2 cups puffed rice (murmura)
  • 1 cup sev (thin gram flour noodles)
  • 1 cup chopped boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
  • 2 tablespoons mint-coriander chutney
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons chopped raw mango (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the puffed rice, sev, boiled potatoes, chopped onions, tomatoes, and coriander leaves.
  • Add tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney according to your taste preferences. Mix well.
  • Sprinkle chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and salt over the mixture. Toss everything together to coat evenly.
  • Add roasted peanuts, chopped raw mango (if using), and pomegranate seeds. Mix again.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. If you like it spicier, you can add chopped green chilies.
  • Serve Bhel Puri immediately in individual bowls or plates.
  • Garnish with extra sev and coriander leaves if desired.
  • Squeeze lemon wedges over each serving just before eating to add a tangy flavor.
