Chicken Gola Kabab Roll


 Here's a complete Chicken Gola Kabab Roll recipe that combines deliciously spiced, juicy kababs with fresh veggies and a soft paratha wrap. Perfect for any occasion!

 

Ingredients:

For Chicken Gola Kabab You Will Need:


  1. 500g ground chicken (minced)
  2. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  3. 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  4. 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional for spice)
  5. ½ cup fresh cilantro (coriander), chopped
  6. ½ tsp cumin powder
  7. ½ tsp coriander powder
  8. ½ tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  9. ½ tsp garam masala powder
  10. Salt, to taste
  11. 2 tbsp cream (optional for softness)
  12. 1 tbsp cornflour (for binding)

For the Roll Assembling:

  1. 4 large parathas (or any soft flatbreads)
  2. 1 cup lettuce or cabbage, shredded
  3. 1 small cucumber, julienned
  4. 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
  5. ½ cup onions, thinly sliced
  6. Green chutney or yogurt garlic sauce for spreading
  7. Lemon juice, to taste
  8. Chaat masala, optional for extra flavor

Instructions:

Make the Chicken Gola Kababs:

 

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chili, cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, cream, and cornflour.

Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Form the mixture into small round kababs (balls) about the size of a golf ball.

Cook the Kababs:

 

  • Heat a little oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Place the kababs in the pan, leaving space between each one. Cook for 5-7 minutes, turning them frequently until they are golden brown and cooked through. Set aside on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Prepare the Roll:

 

  1. On each paratha, spread a layer of green chutney or yogurt garlic sauce.
  2. Place a few pieces of shredded lettuce or cabbage, cucumber, tomato, and onion in the center.
  3. Add 2–3 chicken gola kababs on top of the veggies and drizzle a bit of lemon juice for added zest.
  4. Sprinkle chaat masala if desired.

Roll It Up:

 

  • Fold the sides and roll the paratha tightly around the fillings. Wrap one end in parchment paper or foil to keep the roll together and make it easy to hold.

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of fresh mint leaves or a slice of cheese inside each roll.
